The video shows Chinese school kids entering a school in China. There is a face scanning machine at the entrance.
Not only is it a great security device (and labour saving - you dont need security guards) but the school can also know where the kids are at anytime during school hours.
Assuming there are other scanners around the school, it will be more difficult for kids to ponteng sekolah, hang out too long in the corridors, smoke behind the toilet etc.

China has 1.5 Billion people. They have to take care of their people. When human beings invented the cradle for babies to sleep in, it freed up the mothers hands to do other housework. The Chinese are just progressing the idea.
