I've been back since Ramadan – Farhash sets record straight

Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak has responded to questions regarding his whereabouts amid the high-profile sex scandal implicating Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali.
Responding to a social media graphic being circulated on this, the Perak PKR chief said the news reports cited in the image quoted sources on his location.
"They cited sources, not me. I have been back from a course for some time," he told Malaysiakini this evening.
Farhash, who is PKR president Anwar Ibrahim's political secretary, said his course was at the Harvard University in the United States.
He is currently on leave to work on his PhD in management.sss
Farhash had been linked to the sex scandal, with one news report claiming there were discussions in PKR WhatsApp groups on how he went missing and remained incommunicado when the clips surfaced.
It also noted that his name was mentioned when Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz, who confessed to being the other person in the video, was rumoured to have met him when he was arrested at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) en route to Manila.
Quoting unnamed PKR sources, the daily reported that Farhash has relatives in the Philippines.
Commenting on this news report, Azmin (above) told reporters this morning that he is now convinced that the sex video scandal was an inside job.
Farhash, however, told Malaysiakini that he was not linked to the scandal and being Anwar's aide made him a convenient target.
On the same note, he said Azmin, who claims there is a nefarious plot to ruin his career, should resign if the video clips are genuine.
Haziq, who was arrested last Friday, was released on police bail the next day. The Santubong PKR Youth chief is being investigated under multiple sections, including for carnal intercourse.
In a related development, a video and an audio recording titled "Azmin love Haziq 3/4" have been released.
Unlike the previous clips, which were sent through WhatsApp groups, these were uploaded on YouTube instead.
The 46-second video is barely discernible whereas the audio is of a conversation between two men agreeing to meet at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur in March.
The person who uploaded the clips claimed that it was a conversation between Haziq and the minister.
Malaysiakini has contacted Azmin's aides for comment. - Mkini
