AZMIN TOO SHY TO SHOW HIS FACE AFTER ALLEGED GAY SEX ANTICS EXPOSED ON SOCIAL MEDIA? ‘HE JUST FLEW TO VIENNA’ – AZMIN’S DEPUTY OFFERS LAME EXCUSES DESPITE DELAY IN TABLING CRUCIAL FELDA WHITE PAPER

KUALA LUMPUR – Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali (pic) is unable to attend Parliament as he is attending the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) meeting in Vienna, says his deputy.
“The Minister just flew to Vienna for Opec last night,” said Deputy Economic Affairs Minister Dr Radzi Jidin, replying to questions on why Azmin was unable to answer during Question Time on the Federal Land Development Authority’s (Felda) White Paper from Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan (BN-Pontian) on Monday (July 1).
Radzi said there was no cover-up or delays in taking action after the tabling of Felda’s White Paper in April.
“There is no such thing as a cover-up in any of the cases. As I mention, we are respecting due process and rule of law,” he told Datuk Johari Abdul (PH-Sungai Petani), who questioned why the authorities were slow in acting after the tabling of the White Paper in Parliament.

“Based on that, the police are currently investigating the EHP and KLCVC deals in detail.
“Felda will give its full cooperation to the police on all investigations. Felda is also committed to assisting the police in all aspects in order to ensure that the investigation process goes smoothly,” said Radzi.
He added that it was important to allow the authorities to complete their probes.
“For the six cases tabled in the White Paper, Felda will take necessary action as soon as possible.
“Although focus is given to the eight cases in the White Paper, it does not mean Felda will not zoom in on other irregular investments and purchases.
“Felda will ensure that all of its corporate management will be based on transparency and accountability in order to restore confidence, especially among Felda settlers,” said Radzi.
The Economic Affairs Ministry released the white paper in April containing the forensic studies conducted by Ernst & Young on eight Felda investments.
The paper found discrepancies, lack of due diligence, and poor risk management by Felda’s board when making investment decisions.
