PETALING JAYA: An engine of a Thai AirAsia flight caught fire soon after taking off from the Velana International Airport in Malé, Maldives, on Thursday night, a news report said.
It returned to make an emergency landing safely 22 minutes later at 8.40pm local time, the Maldivian portal The Edition, reported.
None of the 58 passengers or the crew members were injured. The passengers were provided hotel lodging and put on other flights later.
The fight FD178 had earlier departed for Bangkok from the airport.

Passengers on board reported one of the engines of the Airbus A320-200 on fire. The fire was put out before the plane made its landing.

I think it is an attitude problem. Handling big things now. Very big things. Peoples' lives and welfare are at stake. In the long run, earning peoples' trust is more profitable.
