PKR vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin has dismissed party supreme council member Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid's bid to report her to the PKR disciplinary board, calling him "irrelevant".
"Abdullah Sani is not relevant to me," she told journalists on the sidelines of a recycling event in Ampang when asked about Sani's threat.
Sani, who is also the Kapar MP, had said he will report Zuraida to the PKR disciplinary board soon for failing to attend party meetings.
Zuraida had sought a meeting with PKR president Anwar Ibrahim to iron out disagreements, after which her faction will return to attend the regular party meetings.
However, Anwar had insisted that any negotiations can be done during the regular meetings.
On Anwar succeeding Dr Mahathir Mohamad as prime minister next year, Zuraida said this was up to Allah's will.
"Only Allah determines one's fate. We can plan, but if Allah says 'yes', then 'yes'. If Allah says 'no', then 'no'.
"So we leave it to Allah to decide," said the Ampang MP.
On Wednesday, Anwar, in an interview, said he expected to take over the reins of the country sometime in 2020, but added that he was not going to be picky about the timeline. - Mkini
