Brother Anwar Advisors : Dr Mahathir is actually dismissing Anwar as insignificant. That is what is happening.

Anwar guarantees? But Dr Mahathir says :

PM Dr Mahathir sidestepped a question on whether he would put an end to the speculation on the succession issue by setting a specific date to pass the baton to Anwar. “We have to study the situation. If the work is half done or not done, 'susah lah'  (it is difficult),” he told reporters in Putrajaya this morning...

OSTB : Well the lions laughed so much they developed a serious stomach ache. They had to go hisap someone's janggut for a cure. So the monkeys volunteered to step in. Or step up.

Anyway to the Brader Anwar advisors - by now you should know this.

Every week or couple of weeks the question of Dr Mahathir handing over power comes up. 

Each time Dr Mahathir is seen to be "sidestepping" the issue. 

Let me tell you it is NOT a sidestep. 

Dr Mahathir's answers are very deliberate.

Dr Mahathir has said :

1. no exact date was agreed upon

2. I will stay three more years

3. I will stay until things are put in order

4. We have to study the situation etc etc

Each time Dr Mahathir gives this type of answer, he is actually being very dismissive of Anwar Ibrahim. 

Basically Dr Mahathir is saying, 'I will stay as long as I want. Anwar is not in a position to do anything about it'.

This type of answer makes Anwar look more and more irrelevant in the eyes of the public.  

1. I don't know how long it is going to take for you to understand : Dr Mahathir is not going to handover power anytime soon. 

2. Even if he does hand over power it is NOT going to be to Brader Anwar.  If you believe otherwise, you must be really dumb as a brick. Or pintu.

3. There is a third option - against Brader Anwar.  
End result same - "they" will not make him PM.

The more time passes the further away planet Venus will disappear into its orbit.
