PETALING JAYA: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) says the implementation of the mySalam medical protection scheme for the low and middle-income segments is flawed.
In a video posted on Saturday (Oct 26), Wee was seen addressing the matter with numerous complainants within his constituency, who had come for assistance after they faced numerous issues in using the scheme.
Wee, who is Ayer Hitam MP, said he would bring up the matter in Parliament.
Several complainants said they had tried to file their claims to the mySalam website with varying effects.
"I will not stop. I will bring it in Parliament until the ministers and their officers understand.
"Go down to the ground and see for yourself what the issues with mySalam are.
"The RM400mill allocation is for what, if the public can't use it. The procedure is already difficult as it is, and it just troubles the rakyat,"he said.
Wee also gave his assurance to the complainants that he would do his best to get their claims filed. - Star
