CORONAVIRUS | Four people, including two Malaysians and two Chinese nationals are under isolation at hospitals in the country, for suspected novel coronavirus infection.
The Health Ministry said they are being held at several hospitals pending lab test results.
Meanwhile, 18 others, including 12 Malaysians have tested negative for the virus.
Yesterday, four Chinese nationals in the country were confirmed positive for the infection and are being held in quarantine.
Authorities have also detained a family of three, after the parents took out their 2-year-old daughter - who is suspected to have the disease - out of a hospital against doctors' orders.
The virus is believed to have originated from a fish market in Wuhan, China.
Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad today said Malaysia will not move to immediately quarantine all arrivals from China or other countries infected with the new coronavirus. - Mkini
