My comments :
For some perspective, in the last budget just one government department was given RM1.2 billion.
The shutdown of the breweries is going to cost the government RM2.3 billion in tax revenues.
This is a lot of money.
Plus those 61,000 people employed in the breweries operations and their supply chains. Who is going to pay the salaries of 61,000 people? If each of the employees even has just ONE PERSON dependent on him, that will be 122,000 people without an income.
Mereka perlu mendapat pendapatan untuk sara hidup.
Siapa nak bayar gaji mereka semua?
