KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has agreed to follow the directive issued by the federal government yesterday allowing two people to travel together for the purpose of obtaining essential items.
Chief Minister Shafie Apdal initially said that the matter would be studied by the state government.
In a statement today, state secretary Safar Untong said two people from the same household would be allowed to travel together to purchase food or medical items, or to obtain healthcare.
He said this was in line with Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within Infected Local Areas) (No. 4) Regulations 2020. - FMT
