PETALING JAYA: The police are looking for about 20 men involved in a riot that happened early Monday morning in the Sri Petaling area.
According to a police report, two groups of men attacked each another with iron tools and liquor bottles.
The rioters also smashed several parked cars in the area, including the complainant’s car which had its windows shattered.
The complainant had been eating at a nearby stall after parking his car by the roadside when the two groups started fighting.
The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code which carries a two-year jail sentence or a fine, or both, upon conviction.
