Cut queue and its back to Singapore, MB warns motorists at Johor's checkpoints

JOHOR BARU: Vehicles entering Malaysia via the two land checkpoints with Singapore have been told not to cut queue or risk not being allowed to enter the country, says Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

The Johor Mentri Besar also thanked the police for being on duty to control traffic congestion at the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB), which connects to the Second Link in Iskandar Puteri.

“Thanks to the police who are in charge of controlling traffic congestion at KSAB.

“I have been made to understand that vehicles that have been found to cut the queue cannot enter Malaysia and will be directed back to Singapore,” he said in a Facebook post here on Friday (June 2).

It is a long weekend for the island republic with Vesak Day being celebrated in Singapore on June 2 and a month-long school holiday there.
