OUR HEROES FROM THE RECENT PAST - DSP KULASINGAM SABARATNAM

 Here is a video about the late DSP Kulasingam.  (Note : The video says he became Assistant Commissioner of Police or ACP but throughout the more famous period of his career the public knew him as DSP Kulasingam - Dep. Superintendent of Police). 

 

For younger Malaysians (those below 55 yrs) DSP Kulasingam (August 12th, 1931 - November 29th, 2007) was a retired Malaysian police officer and was considered the most fearless police officer in the 1970s.

 

Kulasingam Sabaratnam was born on August 12, 1931 in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. He received his education at the St. Paul school (Senior Cambridge) in 1950. 

 

My late father who served in the Police Field Force (PFF) in Ulu Kinta, Perak from the late 50s to 1970,  knew DSP Kulasingam who also served in the PFF for some time. I met DSP Kulasingam once (in the late 1970s) when he came to visit my father in KL.  DSP Kulasingam was a true hero and warrior who served the country selflessly.
