Taking a moment to be Grateful that we are able to see TODAY, will certainly continue to remind us of how Transient Life really is.
Sometimes we are reminded to ...
..." LIVE for the DAY...
" Live for the MOMENT ...
Of course it makes sense to do that, as we only have Today, after all.
However, we CANNOT take all that LITERALLY.
It does not mean we should NOT CARE at all about TOMORROW, because what may or can materialise TOMORROW will depend upon the readiness and preparations for the FUTURE...which BEGINS with TOMORROW.
For example how we manage our HARD EARNED incomes, putting aside savings for the possible CONTINGENCIES of TOMORROW, and the many tomorrows beyond, must necessarily begin from our YESTERDAYS. Not just TODAY.
Just because TOMORROW is NOT a Certainty, we CANNOT simply Live life for the moment, or for only today with ABANDONMENT.
As Heads of Families, as Parents we MUST be RESPONSIBLE and do our BEST to ensure that EVEN if WE OURSELVES do NOT see TOMORROW, those we leave behind are not left in the Lurch.
Planning for the future of those who Matter in our lives must begin Today or better still, MANY YESTERDAYS ago.
