Menteri besar Sanusi Nor says the state is keen on following in Terengganu’s footsteps.

He said it was a serious matter, given the information available on the greater dangers posed by vapes, compared with cigarettes, Harian Metro reported.
“If possible, we want to follow in Terengganu’s footsteps. They say vapes are very dangerous, more so than cigarettes.
“There are many chemicals in vapes. Some people mix (the liquid) with drugs. This is very dangerous,” he was quoted as saying at an event in Sungai Petani today.
Sanusi said his administration would find the best solution on the matter to protect the state’s youth.
It was reported yesterday that the Terengganu government will enforce a statewide ban on the sale of all vape products from Aug 1. - FMT
