The fire at the Petronas gas pipeline on Tuesday destroyed 87 houses while 148 homes were damaged. The fire affected 1,254 people from 308 families.
A 65-year-old man is in intensive care at Ampang hospital, after suffering second-degree burns, the health ministry said. A total of 46 people are receiving treatment at hospitals and clinics – 26 at government hospitals and the others in private facilities.
The ministry said 135 people at relief centres are being provided with psychological therapy. - FMT
