Body of mentally disabled man found in locked house in Kelantan

PETALING JAYA:

 The body of a man said to suffer from mental disability was found in a locked house in Kampung Nara, Pasir Puteh, Kelantan at noon today.

Pasir Puteh fire and rescue station operations commander Ridhuan Nor said the body of Wan Silmi Wan Jusoh, 55, was discovered at 1.49pm after they received an emergency call at 1.23pm.

“We received a call about a man who was believed to be unconscious inside a house.

“Upon arrival, we found the house locked but managed to force open the door and discovered the man’s body on a bed.

“His sister noticed something wasn’t right because she usually brought him food every evening.

“Yesterday’s food, however, remained untouched as of this morning,” Bernama quoted him as saying.

The body was handed over to the police for further action. - FMT
