The ex-daycare centre teacher must pay a RM6,000 fine and RM5,000 in compensation to the Amanah MP’s service centre.

Azrie Abul Hassan Ashari, a former teacher at a daycare centre, was fined RM6,000 by magistrate Arun Noval Dass, or 12 months’ jail in default.
He was also ordered to pay RM5,000 in compensation to Aminolhuda’s service centre, or four months’ jail in default, Harian Metro reported.
Azrie was charged with committing mischief by vandalising and causing RM7,530 in damage to the vehicle at Dewan Haji Aminolhuda in Parit Yaani at about 11am on May 10.
The charge was framed under Section 427 of the Penal Code which provides for a jail term of one to five years, a fine, or both, upon conviction.
Deputy public prosecutor Farah Wahidah Sharif prosecuted, while Azrie was represented by Tan Song Yan. Aminolhuda was present in court during the proceedings.
After the sentencing, Azrie asked for permission to meet Aminolhuda so he could apologise for his action. - FMT
