SEUMUR HIDUP KELUAR MASUK PENJARA, NAIK TURUN TANGGA MAHKAMAH. SAMAN SINI. KENA SAMAN SANA. NEVER ENDING. TUAN-TUAN TAK RASA MALU KE?

Is this what you are looking for as part of your history or as part of your civilization? Because for a certainty this is part of the history of the society.  It will become part of the collective memory of the entire world. And you are going to be proud of this type of character?  Is this the best that you can produce?

20 or 30 years down the road you may choose to develop selective amnesia and try to forget about this character. Like changing a road name to erase the history behind the name. But the world will not let you forget. Because history cannot be changed. This is a permanent blot on the character of the entire society. 

Out of 34 million people, out of 17 million Malays is this the best that you could find? 

The Tunku was Bapa Kemerdekaan. He was a gentleman. Tun Razak was Bapa Pembangunan, with one big slip up. Tun Hussein was Bapa Perpaduan. Tun Dr Mahathir was Bapa Kemajuan.   Then after that it just became a series of kepala bapak. 

Say what you want but the first four were rather normal folks. Ok la some of them played poker, drank and had a dish or two on the side but they did not break any criminal laws. They were not criminals in their personal capacities. All of them made terrible policy decisions for which the entire country is paying the price now but you never heard of Tun Razak stealing a billion Ringgit and putting it into his personal bank account.

Here is a story - which I have mentioned before - told to me by an ex Civil Servant (who worked in the Cabinet office who has since died). A relative of one of the first four PM's above who was a Civil Servant had retired and had to vacate his government quarters. When he vacated the house he took a stand fan with him that belonged to the government. The matter was reported to the prime minister.  The prime minister wrote a formal letter to his relative, addressing him as 'Tuan' and asked that the fan be returned. Which it was. 

Then things changed. When that sleepy prime minister retired they gave him acres of land and he even wanted that hill above the Lake Gardens. 

But we never had anyone who has: 

1. spent so many years of his life being arrested, 
2. charged in court for a criminal offense, 
3. sent to jail, 
4. released from jail, 
5. charged in court again for a similar criminal offense, 
6. he was a repeat offender
7. sent to jail, 
8. released from jail, 
9. then getting entangled yet in another similar criminal act, 
10. again another repeat offence, 
11. facing court action yet again. 
12. He has also been suing so many different people. 
13. And he has also been sued by different people. 

He has spent so much time in the Courts that maybe the Court can name an Accused Person's Box after him. 

 

This time all the old excuses of conspiracy cannot be relied upon anymore. This is quite the stand alone case. But an innocent boy is being victimised.
