PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested a man who allegedly slashed another person in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, over a long-standing disagreement.
Pasir Puteh police chief Zaizul Rizal Zakaria said they were alerted to the incident at Kampung Kulim in Cherang Ruku, Pasir Puteh, by a member of the public around 6.35pm yesterday.
The victim suffered injuries and was sent to Hospital Tengku Anis for treatment.
“Investigations found that the incident resulted from a long-standing disagreement between the suspect and the victim,” he said, adding that a suspect was swiftly arrested.
The case is being probed under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon. - FMT
