ONE of the great benefits of owning a food truck is the huge convenience of relocating your business anywhere, everywhere at a moment’s notice.
But it isn’t cheap to own one of these moving kitchens. That said, one enterprising individual decided to go against the grain by turning his car into a kitchen, or at least, the back of it.
In a video post by netizen @bckupacc99, a man could be seen serving Maggi Bonnet to a customer. The name was obvious since the noodle is made at the bonnet of the car.
However, some netizens were quick to point out the fact that the stove and other heat source were located close to the car’s fuel tank.

Perhaps this is why the rear of a car isn’t the best place to be cooking your noodles. If it gets too hot there, the seller and the customer might become part of the recipe too.
“By the way, can we cook like this in the car,” said @faafaaaaaaaaaz, raising an important point. On our part, we think it is highly unlikely that he would get approval from the authorities.
But Mr Maggi Bonnet has his supporters too. Take it from @safwan_suf26460 who said he was savvy at making money. After all, opportunity is everywhere for those who seek it.

“We have Malaysian earned from hard work not as thief politicians,” said @PillaiLeonard. If a certain politician could get away by stealing billions of ringgit from the rakyat, what harm is it to cook instant noodles in the bonnet of one’s car?
And the portion looks generous too at just RM9, with the fried egg and all those fries. We suppose there shouldn’t be any harm to indulge in a late night maggi as long as the seller is careful with his work. Regardless, it is vital to point out that the seller must comply with the law and hopefully, pursue his entrepreneurship dream with a proper food truck. — Focus Malaysia
