Civilisation is lacking in them. 
A wise young man told me 'Just avoid them. Leave them alone'. 
Just do the niceties, be polite, smile and wave at them. 
But make sure you maintain your distance. 
Do not mix with them. 
Do not get embroiled with them.  
What is civilised mystifies them.
Just give them a wide berth.
