One lane of road to Batu Ferringhi closed for repairs

JKR contractors are carrying out soil nailing works and related activities, says executive councillor.

 One lane of the road to the popular seaside resort of Batu Ferringhi will be closed until Nov 30 to allow repairs to cracks and subsidence, state executive councillor Zairil Khir Johari said.

“The lane closure, near Moonlight Bay between Tanjung Bungah and Batu Feringghi, is to facilitate repair works and other related activities by the contractors appointed by the district public works department (JKR) to carry out soil nailing works,” he said in a statement today.

He urged road users to exercise caution, reduce their speed, comply with safety signs, and follow the instructions of traffic controllers at the site. - FMT
