Halimah Yaacob, mother of Dr Zaliha Mustafa, died in Putrajaya this evening at the age of 77.
KUALA LUMPUR: The mother of former federal territories minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa died tonight at the age of 77.
Zaliha announced that her mother, Halimah Yaacob, died at 8.23pm in Putrajaya.
“A day of mourning for our family. We will no longer hear her jokes and prayers. Words cannot capture this loss,” she said in a Facebook post.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, offered their condolences. - FMT
