IT APPEARS Rafizi Ramli is being quite productive during his time in retirement. Unlike Mr Khairy who became a DJ, our former Minister of Economy decided instead to showcase his talent at business with his new restaurant Kesum, aka Kenyang, Sedap, Murah.
This is no longer news, since the restaurant was launched in early Nov. What’s news, however, was the many good feedbacks received by customers who frequented his premises.
We are not surprised either, since Kesum offers meals at only RM5, putting it within the Menu Rahmah category.

“Hopefully it becomes popular” said netizen @EternalDeeds while @iamssjvmr said the bill for breakfast totalled to only RM10 for two people.

Another netizen wondered if they could pay up in advance and give some of the meals over to the needy.

But when there is a parade, we can expect it to rain too. Take it from @tehsg who said Kesum is a turn off for customers since the wait time is quite long, at about 45 minutes to an hour.

Then there was @ammsyaf who suggested people boycott Rafizi since he was a strong supporter of the UEC.
“Kesum is open daily from 7.00am to 10.00pm. Residents of Pandan and those living nearby are welcome to drop by and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, all priced below RM5,” said Rafizi in a recent post on his Facebook account.
According to him, the menu offerings include dishes such as chicken nasi lemak, chicken nasi minyak, fried noodles, spiced chicken rice, and lempeng with chicken curry, all sold at RM5 or less. — Focus Malaysia
