Netizen gain fame for supporting stalls with few patronage; a new form of kindness?

A SINGLE act of kindness goes a long way towards making the world a better place. Whether it be donating to the needy, feeding a hungry animal or sheltering the homeless, every small gesture is always welcome.

During this fasting month, one kind netizen caught the attention of the cyberspace for his very novel way of offering kindness.

In a video on TikTok, he bought food only from those stalls out there that are not getting a lot of purchase. Now that is a very creative way of redistributing income among the people.

Besides, he is helping himself by helping others at the same time, unlike other acts of kindness which usually involves sacrifice. According to the video, he could be seen buying Roti John at a price of only RM5 for poultry and RM6 for beef.

Too cheap? Indeed it is, and a good number of netizens think so too.

“Roti John at RM4 is so cheap. Here, everything is priced at RM8 to RM9,” lamented a netizen in the comment section.

“This is too cheap. Do you get your model back” We will feel guilty when making a purchase,” pointed out Siti Rohayu Bahar516.

Then there was netizen Naimshah14 stating that he usually buys here, stating that it was really cheap and delicious.

Also, Hafiz Halim added that he usually supported such people instead of those stalls out there that make people stand in a long beeline. He added that such unpopular stalls might be hidden gems, but lack the knowledge in marketing.

Perhaps the most relevant comment came from netizen mariamnorhanis who divulged the location of the stall:

It appears kindness comes in every form and sizes. Sometimes, all it takes is a little creativity to get the good energy flowing into all the right places. — Focus Malaysia
