PETALING JAYA: A tree fell on the train tracks between the KTM Kepong station and the KTM Sungai Buloh station at KM372.46, causing service disruptions on both tracks.
In a statement on Wednesday (Nov 7) evening, KTM Bhd apologised for any inconvenience caused and said the 4.45pm incident had affected train operations.
As a result, there is no KTM Komuter service between the Kepong station and Sungai Buloh.
"The train service from Tanjung Malim station will stop at Sungai Buloh station, while the train service from Port Klang station will stop at Kepong station," it said.
Passangers are advised to use alternative transportation, namely the MRT in Sungai Buloh.
Meanwhile, train service for the Port Klang to KL Sentral route and the Sungai Gadut to Batu Caves route is operating as usual.
As for the Electric Train Service (ETS), ETS Train 9030 on the KL Sentral to Ipoh route is held up between the Sungai Buloh and Kepong station route.
All ETS train services will experience delays of between 60 mins and 90 mins.
Repair works are underway to ensure both tracks can operate as usual immediately.
