To all my Hindu and Sikh readers, I’d like to wish a very Happy Deepavali/Diwali to you and to your family.
I may not know you personally but I certainly hope this joyous occasion is celebrated with much love and respect with one another.
For all Hindus or Sikhs, it will mark the triumph of good against evil. The light against dark. Peace against chaos. Beauty against horrible.
It is a festival of lights.
To the rest of Malaysians, today is another religious holiday. It signifies the freedom of professing faith and beliefs. It also illustrate how we all respect each other’s faith. It is a good time to share. Just like how Malaysians share this nation of plenty.
