KJ: If I was Umno president, I'd sack Lokman for having IQ of a carrot

Former Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said he would sack Umno supreme council Lokman Noor Adam if he was the party president.
"You better pray I don't become president of Umno. First thing I'll do is sack you for having the IQ of a carrot," he told Lokman in a Twitter posting.
Khairy's posting received some 1,800 likes and 2,100 retweets.
He was responding to a Twitter post by Lokman criticising him for being critical of former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak.
"With this kind of finger-pointing attitude, don't ever dream that you can ever become the president of Umno," Lokman said.

Lokman, when asked to respond to Khairy's latest comment, said he was glad that Ahmad Zahid Hamidi beat Khairy in the Umno presidential election in June.
"That's why Zahid won, Umno members need a president with guts to face his rival, not a coward that only knows to sack his opponent and a hypocrite backstabber hiding under the 'brotherhood' tagline," he told Malaysiakini.
Khairy had indicated that he plans to run for Umno president again in 2021.
Yesterday, Lokman issued a lengthy statement lashing out at Khairy.
This was after Khairy disputed Najib's laundry list of reasons for BN's defeat in the 14th general election, which included "lies and slanders" by his opponents.
Responding to this, Khairy curtly said that BN's defeat was due to 1MDB.
Following this, Lokman in his statement accusedKhairy of not doing enough to ensure BN's victory.

He claimed Khairy had pressured Najib to resign after BN's defeat in the 14th general election.

Lokman said if it was not for Khairy, BN may have remained in power for another three months despite losing the election while Najib could have used the time to convince other parties to form a unity government with BN. - Mkini
