KOTA KINABALU: Former Sabah chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman will not be attending the 15th state assembly sitting which runs from Monday (Nov 12) to Thursday (Nov 15).
State speaker Datuk Seri Syed Abbas Syed Ali said Musa asked for leave from the sitting, citing health problems.
“I have approved his leave application and he will not be attending this sitting," he said during his opening speech at the state legislative assembly here Monday.
Following the smooth tabling of the state budget last Friday (Nov 9), Syed Abbas urged all assemblymen to continue keeping the peace and discipline throughout the sitting.
He also reminded all assemblymen to put their focus on providing their service to Sabahans and to be united for a harmonious Sabah.-Star
