KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry today dismissed news about a leak of the Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics and Chinese Language test papers of the ongoing Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.
The Examinations Board said in a statement that it had conducted investigations into the complaints received on the matter and gave the assurance that there was no need for candidates to resit the papers.
“Parents have no need to worry as the examination is being conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the board under the supervision of the state education departments and district education offices,” it said.
The board advised people not to spread fake news, saying this could adversely affect the focus and emotions of the examination candidates and their parents.
The SPM 2018 examination began on Nov 13 and is scheduled to run until Dec 13. - FMT
