PKR polls committee confident results will be out by this weekend

PKR POLLS | PKR election committee (JPP) head Rashid Din said he was confident that his team will be able to announce the new office bearers at the party's national delegates congress this weekend.
"Yes we can," said Rashid when contacted by Malaysiakini today.
The three-day congress will kick off this Friday at the Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam.
However, with just four days to go, the JPP still has to grapple with several problems.
For starters, the results for the elections over the past weekend have yet to be uploaded to the JPP's website. The information is usually uploaded within hours after the closing of polls.
The JPP will also have to verify thousands of "undi ragu" - votes that were cast by those whose eligibility as voters were in doubt - before the official results can be announced.
Lastly, there is also the question of whether there will be a re-election for the Julau division.
The Julau division election was suspended mid-way after deputy presidency candidate Rafizi Ramli alleged that the tablet computers used for the e-voting process were compromised.
When asked if there will be a re-election for Julau, Rashid replied: "We haven't arrived at a
decision".
Following the suspension, Rashid told the press at the time that 10 tablets were compromised by an application known as "Prey" - an anti-theft application.
According to Malaysiakini's tally, Azmin Ali appeared set to retain his position as PKR deputy presidency after having secured 51.82 percent of the votes cast.
The elections for the party vice-presidency, central leadership council, Youth wing and Women's wing also appeared to have been won mostly by Azmin's allies. - Mkini
