PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian embassy in Cambodia announced that the fourth batch of Malaysians had flown home.
The embassy said 80 Malaysians, including spouses and children, were flown from Phnom Penh International Airport on Saturday (April 25) morning.
"We would like to give a shout out to Lanmei Airlines for their great support and co-operation in arranging this special flight," the embassy said on its Facebook.
Lanmei Airlines Kuala Lumpur branch deputy general manager Liu Ziqiao said the plane returned to Cambodia without any passengers.
"We are glad to be of service to help Malaysians return home.
"There are no inbound and outbound flights between the two countries ever since the MCO (movement control order) was imposed to contain Covid-19 pandemic.
"We have worked together with the Malaysian embassy to make this happen," she said.
The passengers were screened upon arrival at the airport before being sent to a quarantine centre. - Star
