The Dewan Rakyat will sit for one day only when it reconvenes on May 18, according to a notice issued to MPs via email by Dewan Rakyat secretary Riduan Rahmat.
“Following the implementation of the movement control order, the Dewan Rakyat would convene to discuss government Bills and business only.
“Therefore, there will be no oral question sessions, written questions, motions, and special chambers,” Riduan said in the email.
Several MPs have confirmed to Malaysiakini that they have received the email.
