CORONAVIRUS | Data from the Ministry of Health (MOH) shows that 315 or six percent of Covid-19 patients are under the age of 14.
Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said these include 83 patients under the age of four.
"If we look at our data, so far, under age four, we have 83 patients, and another 83 are from the group between the ages of five and nine.
"There are 149 patients who are between 10 and 14. In total, there are 315 patients altogether who are aged 14 and below.
"That is about six percent (from the total number of positive cases in the country)," he told a press conference in Putrajaya today.
As of noon today, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country is 5,182. However, more than half or 2,766 have fully recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
Currently, the death toll stands at 84.
