Whether Pakatan Harapan has 129 MPs on its side is still in the works, and not finalised, said PKR president Anwar Ibrahim.
However, he said this was not discussed during the PKR MPs' meeting yesterday, which did not focus on getting numbers or power.
"Regarding the 129 MPs, or 130, we (PKR) did not discuss this (yesterday) because it is still in the process, it's not final. We are discussing this diligently," he said in a Facebook live session.
"What's important is that in (PKR's) discussions, it's not about numbers or power.
"We have had power many times before, to and fro, in the end, the people's interests are still damned (jahanam)," he added.
Instead, Anwar said PKR's discussions focused on an agenda to improve the country's economy, institutions and society.
Speculation has been rife that Harapan, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, and Warisan had allegedly secured 129 MPs on their side to reclaim Putrajaya from Perikatan Nasional.
