No one is SURPRISED that Nurulhidayah and her husband was fined RM800 each by the Putrajaya Court this morning.

The question that arise is why there is a disparity on the fines imposed. The rich always gets away with a smaller amount while the poor are fined RM1,000 and in some cases with a prison sentence.

All these MCO violators have also pleaded guilty for defying the MCO.

In Nurulhudayah and her husband's case they had foul the law by inter-State travel, Kajang, Selangor and Putrajaya, Wilayah Perseketuan.

According to the records, the police have issued a permit for them to travel.

When family members wanted to attend to pay their last respects, the police had denied they request from ordinary citizens, by quoting only spouse, parents or children were allowed.

Is meeting a Minister and Deputy Minister by a ordinary citizen a important reason while a serious pandemic of the CoronaVirus infection that had claimed many lives. The government had been saying - stay home. If they were elected representatives, then it may be excusable.

Another issue is the reason in the delay in sentencing. Ordinary citizens who defied the MCO where hurled to Court the next day or two. Why conduct a investigation when it is a clear defiance of the MCO order.

Malaysians had expected a fair and just treatment for every citizen, whether rich or poor.
