"THIS SOMETHING TOLD BY SOMEONE" AND "THE DEAL" - RIZA AZIZ CASE

Govt set to recoup USD107.3mil worth of assets in Riza Aziz's caseAttorney-General: I was told Tommy Thomas had agreed in principle ...Controversy over decision to discharge Riza Aziz should end with ...Tommy Thomas says would never have approved 'sweetheart deal' for ...

I need to fully concur with S. Thayaparam's article entitled  "The 'ketuanan' state attempts to pin blame on Tommy Thomas".

Since the new 'backdoor' Muhyiddin government (cannot call 'backdoor government' again since today's Parliament had its session) so many mysterious things have been happening.

Muhyiddin's Bersatu is the smallest party in the so-called Perikatan Nasional group.

To satisfy the 'hunger' of his bigger partners, these elected members were offered Cabinet Ministers position and also GLC positions.

With the Covid-19 pandemic, so many Malaysians fear losing their steady jobs but these PN leaders have the greed for a second job in the GLC, which actually should be reserved for capable and talented Malaysians to spearhead these GLC into profitable ventures for the nation to enjoy its returns.

Something 'fishy' seem to have happen to wolf boy Riza Aziz case that surprised many Malaysians.

Already Malaysians have been saying that there is 'double standards' in prosecution and to hit the nail in the forehead, Riza Aziz case did not come as a surprise. Thieves seems to be having a heyday in Malaysia nowadays.

There were even reports that if you want to steal, steal double the amount and if you pay half the loot, you are scot-free.

Like someone said that "your misfeasance can be forgiven if you return some of the money. You enjoy the other half."

Do you want this New Malaysia to be like these?????

"Not only must Justice be done, it must also be seen to be done".

Blaming "this someone told by someone" tale is unacceptable and the current Attorney-General should appeal by considering it as a mistrial.

A convict need to be punished for a crime even if he returns to full loot, must be the order of the day.

Some even suspect that there is a "deal" been agreed upon by the current administration.

Whatever the circumstances, it should be APPEALED immediately and we should let the convict face the full punishment of the law. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
