Police have arrested four individuals for ramming their car into another car before assaulting and robbing the victims in an incident at Taman Sentosa, Klang, yesterday.
Klang Selatan police chief Shamsul Amar Ramli said the 4.30pm incident happened when a car, en route to Port Klang, was rear-ended by a Honda Civic.
"One of the suspects smashed the window, dragged out the driver, and hit him with a stick. He also took a handphone belonging to another victim, who is the driver’s cousin," he said.
Following the report on the incident, the police launched an operation and detained the four suspects less than 12 hours after the incident happened.
Shamsul added that the suspects were aged between 23 and 35. They were all jobless and were under the influence of methamphetamine during the incident.
