18-year-old girl's father, three brothers charged with raping, sodomising, physically abusing her

 

MELAKA: An 18-year-old girl's father and three brothers were charged with 35 counts of raping, sodomising and physically abusing her.

The 51-year-old lorry driver and his three sons, in their 20's, claimed trial to all the charges before Judge Nariman Badruddin at the Ayer Keroh Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday (May 5).

The four were charged with allegedly raping, outraging the modesty and abusing the girl at a house in Tanjung Minyak here between March 1,2020, and Feb 1,2021.

The father was charged under Section 376(3) of the Penal Code for rape, Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt and Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.

His three sons faced all the charges under Section 376 and Section 377(C) of the Penal Code for rape and carnal intercourse against the order of nature, respectively.

The court fixed June 8 for the next mention and granted bail of RM8,000 for each of the offences to all the four accused.

The teenager had lodged a police report on April 21 here alleging her father and three brothers took turns to rape, sodomise and physically abuse her while under the influence of drugs. - Star
