BSN continues to help those facing difficulty servicing their loans

Bank Simpanan Nasional says many customers continue to be affected by economic difficulties brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) will continue to offer its assistance schemes to customers facing financial difficulties in servicing their loans during the pandemic.

It assured customers that if they sought help from BSN’s Financing Rescheduling Package as well as Targeted Repayment Assistance (TRA) programme, it would not affect their credit status under the Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS).

BSN chief executive Jay Khairil Jeremy said customers in need of assistance could apply for these financial packages.

He said there are still many customers who are affected by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic although it hit the country over a year ago.

The situation is becoming devastating with an increasing number of cases recorded in the country, leading to the imposition of the latest movement control order.

“Hence, we are urging customers who still need assistance to immediately apply for these assistance packages offered by BSN,” he said.

The applications for BSN Financing Rescheduling Package and Targeted Repayment Assistance Programme can be made via the bank’s website or at its branches. - FMT
