KOTA KINABLAU: Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) has five options if seat negotiations with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) for the coming general election fail, state BN chairman Bung Moktar Radin said.
He declined to disclose details of the five options, saying it is considered to be party strategy. He said discussions with GRS were “not yet smooth” and were continuing.
Bung had been asked if Sabah BN was ready to move alone if the negotiations for an electoral understanding with GRS did not go smoothly. The talks involve seat allocations to avoid a clash of candidates at the general election.
Bung said Sabah BN would set the direction for the coming parliamentary elections and formulate a new strategy and manifesto. “We will change Sabah’s economy because Sabah has so much potential,” he said. - FMT
