JACKFRUIT

 


Jackfruit is also known as jack tree, goes with the scientific name Artocarpus heterophyllus. It is an exotic tropical fruit that belongs to the species of tree in the fig, mulberry and breadfruit family of Moraceae. Jackfruit is an indigenous plant to India while it is also cultivated throughout the tropical regions across the globe.
