BANGI: Vouchers for between RM25 and RM100 are being offered to more than 45,000 people which can be redeemed when buying domestic flight tickets online until the end of this year.
The e-vouchers are being offered by Malaysia Airlines, Air Asia, Batik Air, Firefly and MASwings under the government’s tourism recovery plan for aviation.
Tourism, arts and culture minister Nancy Shukri said Malaysia Airlines would provide RM100 vouchers for 10,000 travellers; Firefly and Batik Air would offer RM50 vouchers to 4,000 travellers, while MASwings would offer RM25 vouchers to 4,000 customers.
Passengers can redeem the vouchers only once.
She said Air Asia would offer RM50 vouchers to 23,879 travellers, which can be redeemed up to three times for one-way or two-way flights.
Nancy said 15,467 Malaysians had used the rebates and discounts on bus and rail tickets and 12,540 through domestic tour packages. - FMT
