PUTRAJAYA: Senior lawyer Hisyam Teh Poh Teik will now lead clerk Sam Ke Ting’s appeal from her conviction and sentence in the modified bicycle, or “basikal lajak”, case.
Hisyam confirmed this to FMT after attending the case management today.
Previously, the late former Federal Court judge Gopal Sri Ram was appointed to lead Sam’s defence team. He died on Jan 29.
Sam’s appeal will be heard before the Court of Appeal on March 31.
