HOW TO WIN THE UPCOMING ELECTIONS IN SIX STATES - A BRILLIANT SUGGESTION

The State level elections in SIX States are due upon us soon. The way things are going the PH have no chance at all in Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah. The PN is also super confident of taking Selangor. That is FOUR  out of SIX State that will likely go to the PN.

Negeri Sembilan is also at serious risk  of falling to the PN.  And indications are Malay majority seats in  Seberang Jaya in Penang will also fall to the PN, thus denting the DAP/PH's grip on Penang since 2008 (15 years ago).

The prospects for the PH are really quite bleak in these upcoming State polls. And after 100 days the entire country can see the total incompetence of the Madani gomen. The Ministers are totally inexperienced and Mr Madani is living up to his mediocre performance  and unclear grasp of many things.

That "the KSN will prepare a comprehensive plan to overcome the kos sara hidup within two weeks" which was announced on Nov 27th 2022 (a Sunday) that has gone nowhere is a classic example of the ineptitude.   You will notice that the kos sara hidup is hardly mentioned anymore by Madani. It could be more embarrassing.

There has been nothing much for the ordinary man in the street. And now the prosecution of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has not really gone down too well with sizeable parts of the Malay population, including some PH supporters themselves. 1MDB took about a year to prosecute but the Muhyiddin charges have been filed in just over 100 days. Indeed super fast.

In the beginning the accusation was over RM500 billion, RM600 Billion etc.

But now the actual charges are about RM232 million. Nowhere close to the billions that we have become used to. What happened to the missing billions?

Malaysia is perhaps the only country in the world where three out of ten ex and incumbent prime ministers have been charged in Court with committing crimes. Two of them have been convicted. What a great example of a country (or society?)

Getting back to feet on the ground, the PKR and its illicit partner UMNO are both not popular with Malay voters. In GE 15 the PKR won 31 seats while UMNO  won only  26.  I dont think the PKR and UMNO can even repeat this performance again. They are both history.

Which means that when the PH performs poorly in the coming State polls (and they will perform poorly) the entire PH coalition will unravel. 'No Madani no DAP' will be heard again. And with a No Zahid as an addendum. The Sarawak boys and the Sabah boys may also walk out.

So what can Madani do to thwart a fate that seems so inevitable? A simple and workable suggestion has been made.

The following is also taken from Hussein Hamid, please click here .

1.  Abolish or drastically cut intercity tolls in the Klang Valley without compensating the toll operators. Why should you compensate the toll operators? Are not the toll operators the government anyway? EPF, KHAZAH etcetera etcetera.

2. Abolish, or drastically cut, all other highway and bridge tolls….also without compensation for the same reasons. I know that you have calculated that a 30% cut is possible. Do it!

3. Please, please, please abolish the Sedition Act. You guys did it in 2018 for about two months and then Tun Mahathir got cold feet…..just as you or Saifudin - one and the same person really….got cold feet and corner-baring on your promise to get rid of Sosma!

4. Please abolish that really nasty nasty section of the Multi Media Act. Abolish or reform Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act! The broad scope of Section 233 of the CMA allows it to be widely used against human rights defenders and has become a tool of intimidation and harassment by state apparatus in recent years. A really nasty piece of legislation that has no place in any democracy.

5. Please Mr Prime Minister, drastically cut import duties on all motor vehicles. Totally abolish APs for the import of all motor vehicles. Do this and the price of motor vehicles will drop.

6. Mr. Prime Minister you must not be afraid of losing revenue for your government. Whatever money the people save
(OSTB : from lower motor vehicle price) will be spent on other consumption. It will generate more revenue for the government (OSTB : from other consumption). The money will circulate more through the economy. So please Mr. Prime Minister, I repeat, do not be afraid of losing govt revenue. What goes around comes around.

Do all of the above and Malaysians will be very very very happy. And when you make Malaysians happy, they will happily vote for Pakatan Harapan in the coming state elections! And you know, and I know that when they vote for Pakatan Haranpan, you get to stay as PM kan?

My Comment :

This is indeed David Copperfield's magic rabbit inside the magic hat. It is time for Madani to pull out this magic rabbit.

You abolish APs for motor vehicle imports, cut all import duties, excise, levies, taxes whatever for motor vehicles by at least 50%, abolish the Sedition Act and Section 233 of that Multimedia Act,  believe me the PH will walk over the PN.

The PH has got nothing to lose. UMNO was the grand thief that introduced APs and made car prices two to four times more than world market prices. UMNO was the champion of the Sedition Act to promote their ketuanan Melayu.

And what did it get for UMNO? They got kicked out and their party president was jailed. Now another party president is more unpopular and may also end up at the Sungai Buloh resort.

Who will be unhappy? Those two dozen or so very rich AP holders. Those few dozen CEOs and Chairmen of the GLCs who earn multi-million Ringgit salaries from selling very expensive cars.

Who will be very happy? 34 million Malaysians including about SIX MILLION voters in those six States.

So what do you have to lose? Think. Do you wish to remain in power or not?
