FEBRUARY 21:
- Former Bersatu information chief Wan Saiful Wan Jan charged with one count of accepting close to RM7 million in bribes in relation to Jana Wibawa and one count of soliciting bribes for a road project worth RM232 million from Lian Tan Chuan.
- He was charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court before Judge Azura Alwi. He pleaded not guilty.
- The judge ordered RM400,000 bail.
- Bersatu Segambut division deputy chief Adam Radlan charged with soliciting and accepting RM500,000 in bribes in relation to Jana Wibawa at the KL Sessions Court.
- He was charged before Judge Suzana Hussin. He pleaded not guilty.
- Court ordered RM120,000 bail.
-Bersatu Segambut division deputy chief Adam Radlan charged with two counts of accepting RM4.1 million bribe in relation to Jana Wibawa at the Shah Alam Sessions Court.
- He was before Judge Rozilah Salleh. He pleaded not guilty.
- The court ordered RM600,000 bail
FEBRUARY 22
- Furniture company director Datuk Teo Wee Cheng charged with nine counts of soliciting and accepting bribes amounting to RM12.87 million in connection with the Jana Wibawa programme.
- He was charged at the Johor Bahru Sessions Court before Judge Datuk Ahmad Kamal Arifin Ismail. He pleaded not guilty.
- The judge ordered RM500,000 bail.
FEBRUARY 28
- Bersatu Segambut division deputy chief Adam Radlan charged with one count of soliciting a RM2 million bribe in relation to the Jana Wibawa programme.
- He was charged at the KL Sessions Court before Judge Azura Alwi. He pleaded not guilty.
- Deputy public prosecutor Farah Yasmin Salleh suggested RM300,000 bail with two sureties, as allowed to Adam by the Shah Alam Sessions Court as she will be applying for the two cases to be tried together.
- The judge agreed to the bail suggestion. - NST
