PAS has taken a swipe at PKR, saying the latter has forgotten the Islamic party's sacrifices since it took control of Putrajaya.
Vice president Idris Ahmad said various insults were even hurled at PAS leaders who previously worked together with PKR to help trigger a wave of reforms.
“Despite this, PAS has a big heart and accepts any criticism levelled by its opponents.
"Tonight, we are gathered at the place where reformasi started, but what can we do if he has the power to belittle all of us? It's okay. PAS has a big heart.
"Even though we have been devoted to you, served with you, even though we were the ones that triggered the reforms, you insult our tok guru (party president Abdul Hadi Awang)" Idris (above) said when speaking after the prayer ceremony held at Taman Melewar, Gombak tonight.
Also present at the ceremony were the leaders of PN, including chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin.
The prayer ceremony was held in support of the former prime minister who will face charges in court tomorrow regarding abuse of power and money laundering.
Almost 1,000 PN supporters and leaders attended the event which started at 7pm.
At the event, Muhyiddin also spoke and insisted that the prosecution against him was an effort by the government to weaken PN.
Muhyiddin reiterated his stance that he was not involved in the abuse of power and misappropriation of public funds.
On the other hand, the Pagoh MP claimed it was a selective prosecution to weaken PN and embarrass him. - Mkini
