Umno has urged all quarters to give a chance to the coalition government to realise its promised agendas.
Its president, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, said the government has just been in place for about seven months, but there have been many voices criticising the administration for allegedly not living up to its pledges.
"In the seven months the Madani government has been in power, many quarters have alleged that pledges have not been kept.
"Please give a chance for this government to realise the promised and planned agendas with the support of civil servants, who are loyal to the government," Zahid, who is also deputy prime minister, said in his speech at the 2023 Umno general assembly at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur today.
