PKR vice-president R Ramanan posted a cryptic message with the video, saying: 'Sometimes, we already know, but we chose to remain quiet.'

“Sometimes, we already know, but we chose to remain quiet,” Ramanan wrote on TikTok. “Time changes no one but only reveals who they truly are.”
In the video, Anwar is seen singing the classic Hindi song “Dost Dost Na Raha” (A Friend Is No Longer A Friend), about betrayal, lost friendship, broken love and the collapse of trust.
In a posting accompanying the clip, Ramanan said “some songs hit different when you know the story”.
Anwar and Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi have featured in an exchange of snide remarks this week.
At the Umno general assembly, which ended today, Zahid took veiled jabs at Anwar, whom he referred to as “guru” and said that Umno could do better than the PKR president.
Earlier this month, Zahid denied allegations that his relationship with Anwar has become increasingly strained, saying their ties remain cordial, in response to a Bloomberg report citing sources as saying that tensions between the duo were worsening.
Last month, former Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said trust between Anwar and Zahid had hit its lowest point following Barisan Nasional’s decision to join forces with Perikatan Nasional for the Negeri Sembilan election.
Anwar however brushed aside the claims and said that Khairy was only expressing his “personal view”. - FMT
